Alongside the historic old town, the town lake can be seen as a special feature of Bad Waldsee. It lies in the middle of the town and is surrounded by a very well-kept park. The water is so clean that even bathing and of course fishing are very possible. If the visitor walks around the lake, he or she can not only enjoy the beautiful nature, but also take a relaxing break from sightseeing in one of the very nice cafés and restaurants. While doing so, the view can wander across the lake to the old town and admire the numerous gables and towers.
