The idyllic village of Nieblum on Föhr regularly attracts numerous visitors with its very special Frisian charm. Whether the thatched blue and white captain’s houses, the “talking” gravestones or the impressive Frisian cathedral – there is much to see and marvel at here. With around 700 inhabitants, the “Pearl of the North Sea” is the second largest town on the island of Föhr and has been settled since the Middle Ages. Even the streets here are real works of art: over cobblestones and multi-pebble pavements you reach the centre of the village – the Park an der Meere. Here you can enjoy the weather in beach chairs and watch children romp around the extensive playgrounds.
