The small village of Weißensee with its 1,500 inhabitants is a district of Füssen and also a popular climatic health resort. Visitors can expect a varied programme of guided hikes, lake festivals, beach concerts at the outdoor pool and children’s events all year round. The focal point of the idyllic village is clearly Lake Weissensee, which is up to 25 metres deep. Here you will find pure nature: in addition to swans and wild ducks, the lake is home to numerous species of fish such as carp, zander, pike, eel and lake trout – an absolute paradise for anglers. Hikers and cyclists enjoy exploring the lake on the approximately 6 km long circular trail. In summer, the beautiful outdoor pool is a great attraction.
