See and be seen – that is the motto of Lübeck’s Holstentor Terraces. Located near the famous Holsten Gate, the Salt Warehouse and the KOBALT Puppet theater Lübeck, the newly designed stairs invite you to linger and relax. Nearby are also the piers for round trips on the river Trave, so that ships can also be observed from the stairs. This is also a great place to take a break after a walk along the banks of the Trave. Especially in the warmer seasons there is a lot going on here. The Holstentor Terraces are a popular meeting place – both for locals and for visitors to the Hanseatic city.
