Trusetal mine

In the “Hühn” visitor mine, you can experience mining up close. More than 500 minerals from Germany and abroad can be seen in the mineral exhibition. The mine was still in operation until 1990 and still has the tracks and technical equipment from that time, so you get a very good impression of the work “underground”. You travel part of the underground sections on the “Hühn Express”. In the true-to-the-original replica of a mine, you can understand the mining activities of the local miners.
