Late baroque monastery from the 18th century

Near Ulm, the majestic Wiblingen Monastery is located on the Upper Swabian Baroque Road. Built in the 18th century, the former Benedictine monastery delights with its late Baroque architectural style. The impressive monastery church, the interesting museum and the magnificent library stand for the power of the former monastery. The library hall is very colorful and artistically decorated with numerous paintings and frescoes. A curiosity are the two hidden spiral staircases. One discovers these only with a closer look. They lead to the library’s gallery, from where you have a good view of the hall and the impressive frescoes on the ceiling.
