It captivates visitors with its numerous themed and show gardens. There is also an adventure world and a beautiful sea of flowers. One of the park’s highlights is “Danakil,” the world’s first desert and jungle house with two climate zones – a must for nature lovers.

For those who want to make their city break a sporting one, Erfurt’s Nordstrand (a gravel lake) is the place to go. Here you can swim, water ski, play beach volleyball or beach soccer, or simply enjoy the sun and relax.
