More than 1,000-year-old city with listed old town centre and almost complete city wall ring

Do you like medieval towns? Bad Langensalza is one of them and also has a long tradition as a spa, which began as early as 1811 with the discovery of the sulphur springs. The town, which was first mentioned in a document in 932, offers culture and wellness and also beautiful nature in the surrounding area. The listed old town centre with its many beautiful half-timbered houses is surrounded by the almost completely preserved town wall. Once a year, on the last weekend in August, the annual medieval town festival takes place, in keeping with the historic old town.
