Are you looking for the perfect vantage point on Lake Constance? Then we recommend the Birnau Basilica. The centuries-old parish church stands on a hilltop above the lake. It offers marvellous views of Lake Constance across orchards. The baroque church on the northern shore of the lake itself is also highly photogenic. Pilgrims in earlier years must have been impressed by the marvellous location. The church and the view across the lake are particularly attractive at sunset. The rococo-style interior is also well worth seeing.
