Past rushing, thundering waters, uphill or downhill, the Breitachklamm leads from Oberstdorf Tiefenbach to the neighboring Kleinwalsertal valley. It is one of the deepest gorges in the Bavarian Alps. The narrow path that winds along the cliffs and the roaring Breitach River invites you to an impressive experience. The water makes its way through rock and leaves behind a gentle water mist in which some rays of light are reflected. If you look upwards, you will be impressed by interesting rock structures and root braids.
