Do you know the longest lakeside promenade in Germany? It is located on the Ammersee and runs from Herrsching along the shore for about ten kilometres. Along the way there are numerous opportunities to eat ice cream by the water or stop for a bite to eat in a Bavarian beer garden. Since the promenade is on the eastern shore, you can enjoy particularly beautiful sunsets over the lake in good weather.
