With almost 40 hectares, Lake Breitenau is the largest lake area in North Württemberg. The local recreation area includes the lake, the camping park, the sunbathing lawns, among other things. The extensive, well-kept lawns invite you to laze in the warm summer sun or in the shady green of the surrounding trees. Of course, Lake Breitenau also offers plenty of entertainment for youngsters and children. Swimming, paddling, pedal boats, rubber dinghies and rowing boats as well as all kinds of offers in and around the water are very popular with vacationers. In addition, there are ball sports courts, an outdoor table tennis court, a basketball court, a soccer goal wall, a beach volleyball court, a boules court and a large playground with a ground trampoline.
