For most vacationers in the Allgäu, it is an integral part of the program: a trip to the Nebelhorn. The 2,224 meter high mountain belongs to the thumb group in the Allgäu Alps and can be reached from Oberstdorf with the highest cable car in the Allgäu, the Nebelhornbahn. On the summit offers the world-famous Nebelhorn view, a 400 summit panorama view that reaches far into the Alpine massif. In addition to the Nebelhornbahn, you can of course also reach the mountain on foot. Among climbers, the Hindelang via ferrata is particularly popular. In winter, the Nebelhorn is a popular ski resort with two chairlifts, three gondola lifts, a T-bar lift and the longest valley run in Germany.
