It is not nearly as well-known as neighbouring Timmerdorf beach, but no less beautiful – the lakeside promenade in Niendorf on the Baltic Sea. In addition to a play paradise for children with a long beach, bathing areas and playgrounds, water sports enthusiasts also feel very much at home here. Those who simply want to relax can find one of the many beach chairs with a view of the Bay of Lübeck or enjoy the culinary offerings in one of the many restaurants on the Niendorf promenade. This stretches over a total of seven kilometres from the Ostseetherme in Timmendorfer Strand to Niendorf. Extra tip for dog owners: Four-legged friends can be walked on the promenade between October and April.
