In the medieval old town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber, it is the lively centre of the town that magically attracts both locals and tourists: the market square. Whether you sit in one of the beautiful cafés and enjoy the medieval atmosphere, look at the Georgsbrunnen fountain in the middle of the square, or visit the town hall – the market square has so much to offer. If you want to enjoy a special view over the city, you should climb the town hall tower. Also worth seeing is the Ratsherrenhaus, where every day on the hour between 10:00 and 20:00 the art clock with former mayor Nusch and General Tilly appears on the façade.
