There is much to see on a tour of the old town of Schwäbisch Gmünd. Numerous art-historical and architectural treasures point to the time of the Staufers. The unique sights from eight centuries include the magnificent patrician houses and the six still preserved city towers as well as the Johannisturm. You can climb it and enjoy the unique view of the surroundings. The Königsturm, the Heilig-Kreuz-Münster and the Johanniskirche are also worth a visit.
