The Kocherinsel Grasbödele is one of the most romantic places in Schwäbisch Hall. There are several of these small islands along the Kocher River, which are popular meeting places for locals and visitors to the city, especially on warm days of the year. Especially at Whitsun, there is a lot going on here every year – on this weekend, Schwäbisch Hall traditionally celebrates the Salzsieder Fest. Especially on the small islands there are then always many visitors and historically costumed participants. From the Kocherinsel Grasbödele you have a great view of the half-timbered backdrop of the old town and can also watch the water birds and the rippling of the river flowing by.
