Less than four kilometers away is the Danish island of Rømø, which can be reached daily by Sylt ferry from List. Often you will also meet sheep here, which like to pose for a photo or block the road. Important tip: Due to the unpredictable current at the Sylt elbow, swimming is absolutely prohibited in the entire area.
