Where the sea and the Wadden Sea meet

The island of Sylt has many beautiful places that you must have seen. One of them is definitely the Sylt Elbow, the place where open sea and mudflats meet. From walkers to surfers to birdwatchers, there is something for all visitors at Sylt Elbow. Less than four kilometers away is the Danish island of Rømø, which can be reached daily by Sylt ferry from List. Often you will also meet sheep here, which like to pose for a photo or block the road. Important tip: Due to the unpredictable current at the Sylt elbow, swimming is absolutely prohibited in the entire area.
