The small town of Wasserburg is definitely worth a visit during a trip to Lake Constance. In addition to a beautiful panorama of the Alps and the lake and the view of the many orchards and vineyards, Wasserburg convinces with numerous excursion destinations. In the town, the combination of tradition and culture can be felt everywhere. Walk in the footsteps of Wasserburg’s honorary citizens and writers Martin Walser and Horst Wolfram Geißler or visit one of the many exhibitions in the Kunstbahnhof. In the museum in the Malhaus, the original site of Wasserburg’s witch trials, the community’s dark history is impressively traced. The picturesque Antonius Chapel on the “Bergle” is also absolutely worth seeing.
