Tower more than 1,000 years old with a view over the entire Augsburg city area

Are you looking for a job in Augsburg with a far-reaching view? Then the 70 meter high Perlach Tower (Perlachturm) is ideal. It is one of the tallest buildings in Augsburg and has its origins in 989, when it was initially constructed as a lower watchtower. It was then extended several times to its current height. To get to the viewing platform, you have to take quite a strenuous path and climb 258 steps. From there, you are rewarded with a very beautiful view over the entire city of Augsburg. When the foehn is blowing, a yellow flag is hoisted on the tower. You can then see especially far into the distance, even as far as the Alps.
