Pure nature in the Bay of Lübeck

Hiking with a view – that’s possible on the Brodten cliffs. High above the Baltic Sea, there is a cycling and hiking trail that runs for a total of six kilometers from Niendorf via Hermannshöhe to Travemünde. From up here, you have a unique view of the Bay of Lübeck. Large parts of the cliff, which is up to 20 meters high, are under nature protection because the rare sand martins nest here. About halfway along the trail, the Hermannshöhe restaurant is the highest point on the shore – the perfect place for a short break. With a view of the Mecklenburg coast, the trail finally ends at a boat mooring in Travemünde.
