See and be seen

If you want to visit Düsseldorf, you can’t miss the Kings Avenue (Königsallee). Designed by the US star architect Daniel Libeskind in 2005, the Kings Avenue is now a symbol of modern, urban lifestyle. The building complex is a real eye-catcher with its slanted incisions in the element facade made of glass and natural stone, which formally and visually connect the two curved building volumes of the Düsseldorf “Kö-Bogen” (in short). This design feature is characteristic of the American architect. Hip bars and restaurants, noble shops and shops with luxury brands invite you to linger and shop. If you don’t want to miss out on the latest international trends, Düsseldorf’s vibrant centre is the place to be.
