Experience the Federseemoor in all its splendour

No matter what time of year – the Federnsee footbridge, built in 1911, is always a special experience. As a landmark of the town of Bad Buchau, the footbridge over the Federnsee marsh is particularly well visited at weekends and when the weather is fine. A special highlight is at dawn and dusk! On a stretch of 1.5 kilometres, you can marvel at the Federseemoor moor landscape with its extensive and species-rich litter meadows, the dense reed belt and the many water birds. You can either explore the largest moor in south-west Germany with its fascinating biodiversity on your own or take a guided NABU tour to learn about the rare bird life and fascinating plant diversity.
