Hamburg’s Süllberg is the best-known elevation in the hilly district of Blankenese. From the 75-metre-high Süllberg in the Altona district, you have a unique view of the Elbe, Hamburg’s many sights and the huge harbour area. Where a medieval castle once stood, there has now been a restaurant for 100 years where you can fortify yourself after the climb up the Süllberg and enjoy the idyllic view. If the walk up the most famous hill in Blankenese is too arduous for you, you can also reach it by bus. The public transport with the appropriate name Bergziege (mountain goat) enjoys great popularity.
