Popular location for cultural events

The predecessor building of Heiligenberg Castle north of Lake Constance dates back to the end of the 13th century. The castle in Renaissance style as it is preserved today was built in the middle of the 16th century by the Fürstenberg family. This family still owns the castle, which towers impressively over Seeheim-Jugenheim. These days, Heiligenberg Castle is all about culture. In the historic garden salon, in the park as well as in the square courtyard, concerts and events from the series “Culture in Heiligenberg Castle” take place regularly. The special ambience of the park and the castle as well as the first-class catering in the adjoining restaurant provide the perfect setting for these events.
