Historical jewel on the Saar

The Rhineland-Palatinate town of Saarburg is located in the Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park on the banks of the Saar and at the mouth of the Leukbach and has a lot to offer tourists. In addition to informative guided tours through the old town with its famous waterfall, a visit to the numerous museums or the castle complex in the historic town centre, which is well worth seeing, you can also take a boat tour on the Saar. On the 338-metre-high Warsberg above the city, there is also an interesting educational wine trail through the vineyards close to the city. The summer toboggan run on the Warsberg, which can be reached via a chairlift, and a bird of prey park with an air show are also popular attractions for visitors.
