When visiting Bad Urach, a detour to the Urach Waterfalls is an absolute must. Here, the water plunges impressively into the depths from 37 meters over the edge of the tufa. The special thing about the Urach waterfalls is that you can marvel at the spectacular natural spectacle from so many different perspectives. It is therefore not surprising that the well-known sight is part of the “UNESCO Global Geopark Swabian Alb” and the UNESCO-recognized “Swabian Alb Biosphere Reserve”. On the side of the fall, steep steps lead up to the high meadow, from where you get a completely different impression of the natural force of the water.
