There is much worth seeing in the historic old town of Weikersheim. With its picturesque alleys, time-honored buildings and lively market square, the entire town center has been a listed building for several years. You can learn more about life in earlier times in the town museum, which has been located in the goose tower since 2004, or in the Tauberland village museum. A special highlight is certainly a visit to Weikersheim Castle, the former ancestral seat of the Lords of Hohenlohe. The castle in Renaissance style is particularly striking due to its triangular ground plan. The associated park was designed in the 18th century on the model of Versailles and is one of the earliest Baroque gardens in the region.
