There is even more culture in the venerable Stuttgart State Theater. Here you can enjoy a variety of performances from opera to ballet.

Viewpoints in Stuttgart: TV tower and burial chapel

If you want to go a little higher, you shouldn’t miss the Stuttgart TV tower. The city’s landmark offers a unique view over the city and the Swabian Alb. Far above the city, you can also take a wonderful break and enjoy the delicacies in the café on the observation tower with a view of the Stuttgart sights. Another excursion destination with a great view is the burial chapel on the Württemberg. Picturesquely located in the middle of vineyards, you can experience the panorama of the state capital and the Neckar valley from the temple-like burial chapel for Katharina von Württemberg.

Car museums and culinary delights in Stuttgart: Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and Markthalle

Stuttgart is of course also known beyond the country’s borders for its car brands. You can find out more about Mercedes Benz and Porsche in two spectacular museums. In the Mercedes-Benz Museum, the history of the brand is impressively retold with over 1,500 exhibits. The Porsche Museum focuses on the product and motorsport history of the world-famous company to this day.

If you get hungry after so much sightseeing, you should plan a stop at the Stuttgart Market Hall. In the historic building you will find numerous food stalls with exclusive delicacies.
