If you plan a trip to the lakeside in Friedrichshafen, you will get to see a lot. Directly at the harbor, you will find the very interesting Zeppelin Museum in the former harbor train station. From the city train station you can walk through the lakeside park with Zeppelin monument and marina to the former castle harbor. The castle is privately owned and unfortunately cannot be visited. It is wonderful to stroll along the royal promenade. Worth seeing on the Friedrichshafen lakeshore is the impressive baroque castle church with its famous domed towers, which are considered the landmark of Friedrichshafen. The lido and the lakeside path with a view of Lake Constance and the Swiss Alps opposite are also well worth a visit.
