The ageing pier in Sierksdorf and Haffkrug is currently being replaced by a new one. At 230 metres, it will be 65 metres longer than its predecessor and is set to become a real visitor magnet with its zigzag shape. In addition to a panoramic deck with sun loungers, there will also be an all-weather grandstand for events at the front of the bridge. There are also plans for a children’s playground with a fishing theme. The highlight will follow at the end of the Sierksdorf pier: a platform with a glass cover through which you can watch the ships mooring and casting off below, with a passageway to the lower level.
