This is where the state capital is particularly green: at Killesberg High Park in Stuttgart. The green oasis is a special attraction for visitors and especially for families with children. Especially in the summer months, there is a lot to see and experience here: from playgrounds to the Höhenfreibad outdoor swimming pool to several cafés and an animal meadow. But the biggest highlight is certainly the historic steam locomotive, which has been making its rounds here since 1939. Before that, the narrow-gauge railroad had been in Gaisburg since 1928. The 50-hectare Killesberg High Park in Stuttgart is an adventure park for families that is particularly popular on weekends.
