Very idyllically located in a side valley directly at the edge of the forest of the Murrhardt district Fornsbach is the popular Lake Forest. The well-known recreational area offers many opportunities for relaxation and recreation for families with children as well as for sports enthusiasts and nature lovers. In addition to a barrier-free walking path around the lake, there are several children’s playgrounds, a children’s railroad and a miniature golf course. In the lake with good water quality it is wonderful to swim and fish and on the adjacent lawn relax, barbecue or play beach volleyball and table tennis. You can also rent pedal boats or rowboats at the Murrhardt Waldsee and in summer you can play stick shooting on your own stick track.
