When you drive towards the beautiful small town of Besigheim, you can already see it idyllically perched on the hill from a distance. Several towers bear witness to its medieval history. The town is surrounded by two rivers, the Neckar and the Enz, from which you have a beautiful view of the old town. The river slopes are lined with vineyards and the town is dominated by winegrowing. Besigheim was first documented in 1153 in a charter of the Staufer king Friedrich I Barbarossa.
